ScoutPath:
- Does not sell personal information.

- Does not build advertising profiles.
- Does not track users across unrelated websites.
3. Information You Control
You control the information you upload to ScoutPath. You may update or remove your uploaded advancement reports, notes, and profile information at any time through your account settings.
4. AI Processing
When you use AI-powered features, relevant advancement information may be securely processed to generate personalized recommendations, study assistance, and planning features. Only the information necessary to fulfill your request is processed.
5. Third-Party Services
ScoutPath uses trusted third-party providers including:
- Supabase (authentication and database)
- Vercel (hosting)
- AI service providers
- Google Maps and Places APIs
These providers only process information necessary to deliver their services.
6. Security
ScoutPath uses industry-standard security practices including:
- Encrypted connections (HTTPS)
- Secure authentication
- Password hashing through Supabase Auth
- Row-Level Security
- Restricted database access
No system can guarantee absolute security, but we continuously work to protect user information.
7. Data Retention
Your data remains available while your account is active.
Deleting your account starts a 30-day recovery period.
After that period, personal information is permanently deleted where reasonably possible, except where retention is required by law.
Certain non-personal system logs may be retained for security, fraud prevention, or legal compliance purposes.

- Request permanent removal after the recovery period.

ScoutPath is intended for Scouts and their families.
Parents or guardians should supervise younger users.
Parents or legal guardians may request deletion of their child's account and associated personal information by contacting ScoutPath support.

ScoutPath may use essential cookies or similar technologies to maintain secure login sessions and improve performance. These cookies are used only for essential functionality, authentication, and improving the performance of the platform.
