• RSVPs to troop events
• Digital permission slip signatures
• Emergency contact name and phone number, only if you choose to save one
• Medical notes you choose to enter for a permission slip, used only to prepare for that event

• A packing-list photo you upload, used once to generate your checklist and then processed — we do not keep a public gallery of uploaded photos

ScoutPath:

• Does not sell personal information.
• Does not share personal information with advertisers.
• Does not build advertising profiles.
• Does not track users across unrelated websites.

You control the information you upload to ScoutPath. You may update or remove your uploaded advancement reports, notes, and profile information at any time through your account settings.

When you use an AI-powered feature (such as the packing list builder, quiz generator, or a Troop Leader's Court of Honor script tool), the specific information needed for that feature — and nothing else — is sent securely to generate the result. We do not use your data to train any AI model.

ScoutPath includes in-app messaging between Scouts, Senior Patrol Leaders, and Troop Leaders within the same troop. Messages are only visible to people in that conversation. Troop Leaders are responsible for supervising their troop's use of messaging, the same as any other communication with the youth in their program, consistent with BSA Youth Protection standards. ScoutPath does not use message content for advertising and does not sell message content.

ScoutPath uses industry-standard security practices including:

• Encrypted connections (HTTPS) site-wide
• Secure authentication and password hashing through Supabase Auth
• Row-Level Security on every database table, so a user can only access data they're authorized to see
• Restricted database access, with privileged operations limited to the server
• Separate, narrower access for Senior Patrol Leaders that excludes medical notes

No system can guarantee absolute security, but we continuously work to protect user information, and we will notify affected users if we learn of a data breach involving their personal information.

Your data remains available while your account is active.

Deleting your account starts a 30-day recovery period, during which logging back in restores it.

After that period, personal information is permanently deleted where reasonably possible, except where retention is required by law.

If you abandon account creation before finishing setup, that incomplete account is deleted automatically, not stored.

Certain non-personal system logs may be retained for security, fraud prevention, or legal compliance purposes.

You may:

• Access your data.
• Update your information.
• Delete your account.
• Request permanent removal after the recovery period.
• Ask what personal information we hold about you and request a copy, by contacting us.

ScoutPath does not host or permit pornographic, obscene, or otherwise harmful content. All content on the platform comes from Scouting program data (advancement, events, troop communication) entered by verified troop members, not from the open internet or public user-generated content. ScoutPath is appropriate for use on school networks and complies with the content standards expected under the Children's Internet Protection Act (CIPA).

ScoutPath uses a session cookie to keep you securely logged in, through Supabase Auth. It expires when your browser session ends — there is no long-lived "remember me" cookie. We also use one small cookie to remember a preference, like which tab you last viewed. We do not use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies.

This Privacy Policy may change periodically as ScoutPath adds features.

Significant updates will be communicated within the application, and this page will always show the date it was last updated.
